The VEDP offers tools for potential stakeholders to scope out building sites and locations.

The Commonwealth Regional Council region offers many opportunities for new or growing businesses.  The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) offers a building and sites search tool to allow for potential stakeholders to view locations and site availability within the region. The VEDP is a state economic development organization designed to encourage the expansion and diversification of Virginia’s economy. One of the objectives as an organization is to maintain up-to-date information on site and building locations and availability.

Certified Sites

According to the VEDP site, a certified site is a site that has been designated as a Trier 4 or 5 in the Virginia Business Ready Sites Program or has been certified by an external third party. To be a Trier 4 or 5 certified site, the site has be development ready.  The Virginia Economic Development Partnership provides an online list of certified sites that are available for commercial and industrial use throughout the Commonwealth.  Please view the link below to see the available sites:
